Julian Assange is required to wear a home detention tag and has to report to Beccles police station daily until his next Court date in Jan. 2011.

S is Snow, S is for sleet. Brrr it's cold
S is for snow, S is for sleet. B is for be CAREFUL !! I took the photo when delivering sandwiches in Norwich. The roads around norwich made for tricky driving, though SCOTTS sanwich van plugged away getting around Norwich with our great sandwiches. There is more S on the way, (Remember S is for SNOW as well as SCOTTS) so take care drive with caution. Don't take risks, slowly does it. It's better to arrive late than not at all. S is for snow but it is also for SAFE, take care!!! Have a safe few days before Christmas.

During the panto at The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft SCOTTS formal evening menu will be suspended, Our daytime menu will be availablein the evenings for panto goers. SCOTTS will aslo be open on certain dates outside of our normal opening hours. To find out if we are open when you are coming to see Cinderella please feel free to call us on 01502 576 900.
SCOTTS also taking bookings for New Years Eve 2010. To book your table please give us a call. You can also book now for St Valentines day 2010. Our valentines menu will be posted on our news page after the festive season. Unlike some places, SCOTTS Valetines evening will be one couple per table and we won't put you two feet away from another romantic couple. Book now for a romantic night!!!

Lowestoft Christmas Lights switch on Sat 28th November
Lowestoft Marina Theatre will host Anne Charleston (star of Neighbours & Emmerdale) and Dave Benson-Phillips (star of children's TV) as they play the main roles in this years panto, Cinderella!!
On Saturday the 28th of November Dave Benson-Phillips will turn on the Lowestoft Christmas Lights. Come and see us at SCOTTS, we WILL be open.

Mini Tornado in Lowestoft
The Mail on Sunday reported (Sunday edition, page 6) that Lowestoft had been hit by a "mini tornado", Which apparently caused lots of damage in 30 seconds. The Mail on Sunday article said that police were looking in to the claims. Why ?? What can they do about a freak weather condition. Perhaps this is an early April fools story. Last night (Friday the 13th of November 2009) SCOTTS Gallery Cafe went to The Peter Pears Gallery in Aldeburgh and visited the private view of The Stone Eye Group. Martin Laurance, John Barker, Heather Hodgson, Joan Hodes, Ali Hollingsworth & Katherine Roney bring you some stunning images of Orford Ness. This Exhibition is supported by The National Trust and runs until November 18th 2009. Open daily 10am until 5pm.

What's on at The Marina Theatre

The Marina Theatre will be hosting the musical by Willy Russell, BLOOD Brothers. Performances 7:30pm and matinees Wed & Sat at 2:30pm.
Sally Morgan on Thurs 12th of November followed by an evening of fun on the 13th with Joe Pasquale.
Sat the 14th of November sees the arrival of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (R.P.O.) in a Russian Gala. Conductor Janusz Piotrwicz, Soloist Piers Lane.
Tuesday the 17th and it's all change for the rough and ready "Kevin Bloody Wilson" This is an over 18 show that will shock the faint of heart.
